Background

I've been building software for 27 years. I started in embedded systems, designing robotic camera platforms with custom mesh networking protocols, building long-range mesh Wi-Fi systems for ruggedized environments, and writing security infrastructure at companies like FLIR Systems, Tenable, and Fortress Technologies.

In 2016, I founded Phonism (now Inlayer), a B2B SaaS platform for automated device management. I built it from the first line of code to a multi-tenant system processing millions of requests daily, supporting 410+ device models across 16 manufacturers. I hired and led a team of 37, secured partnerships with Cisco, Zoom, and Microsoft, and guided the company through multiple stages of growth.

I've been the engineer debugging production at 2am and the CEO presenting to the board, often in the same week. That range is what I bring to every engagement.

Today, as Chairman of the Board at Inlayer, I'm focused on helping other companies and investors navigate complex technical challenges.
